EAGAN, Minnesota Josh Oliver, a tight end who has been one of the team’s most crucial but least well-known players over the last two seasons, has agreed to terms on a contract extension with the Minnesota Vikings, the organization said Tuesday. Andrew Kessler of Athletes First informed ESPN’s Adam Schefter that Oliver’s three-year agreement is worth $23.25 million with a maximum value of $27.5 million, which includes $11.9 million in new guarantees and $19.9 million in total guarantees. Oliver’s current contract was scheduled to expire next spring; it was signed before the 2023 season. His current contract runs through the 2028 campaign.
