Panthers Sign Broncos Key Player Worth 86.8 Million
On a rainy night in Brisbane, the Panthers defeated the Broncos with a “scrappy” performance, demonstrating once again why they are the team to beat.
The Panthers won 14-6 after trailing 6-4 at halftime and scoring two tries in the second half while holding the Broncos scoreless.
Reece Walsh, who made his Broncos debut after the end of May, gave the Suncorp crowd one of the few reasons to applaud with his outstanding solo try.
After the game, captain Isaah Yeo told Nine’s Danika Mason, “It was pretty scrappy but I felt… we had the upper hand for most of it and we got it done with the defense.”
There were times when we kept them at bay on their end, but we still need to improve our offense.
“I thought the way we defended, they have some really class players – you saw that try with Reece, they’ve got class all over the park – I think we did that really well.” Walsh told Darren Lockyer that while he thought the Broncos had made progress, they were still dealing with sporadic attention span issues.
