Unbelivable: Met Key Man Says Choosing Mets Was The Biggest Mistake That He Has Ever Made After….

The New York Mets defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 5-2 on Saturday. Edwin Diaz made his 10-game suspension count after returning from injury. Luis Torrens had three hits, including a vital three-run double.

In order to break a scoreless tie, Torrens crushed his double in the third inning, blasting the ball deep to left-center field. Along with his two singles, he helped the Mets snap a three-game losing streak.

“I’m always happy to do what I can for the team, whether it’s at the plate or behind it,” Torrens stated.

“At first, I was a little anxious, but I concentrated on throwing strikes,” Diaz said.
